Chiara Coccorese - "Its a plasticine world"

1st to 30th June 2009

In Chiara's current works, small plasticine characters take life in landscapes made of giant fruit, objects in wood, paper, glass and sweets of various kinds. Scenographies in miniature with a painted sky are pictured to capture the precise moment they were constructed for. The moment of their creation is the final objective, intended to eternity; the one and single moment of existence recorded and immortalized in thousands of pixels, where there is neither memory nor future. Like when you can remember only a single image of a dream, an only snapshot left from a world that has existed only for a second and flew away like a thought.
